Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Nursing Administrative Assistant to support our nursing leadership team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of healthcare environments, and a commitment to improving patient care through efficient administrative support.
Hours of Work: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Days 8am-4pm/9am-5pm
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
· Provide administrative support to nursing management through correspondence and meeting coordination.
· Maintain confidential patient and staffing records.
· Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and internal communications.
· Coordinate training sessions and compliance tracking.
· Act as a liaison between nursingand other departments.
· Order and track medical supplies and equipment as needed.
· Basic Helpdesk Support:Provide first-level support for common technical issues such as printer setup, password resets, and software installations.
· Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between Staff and the external IT service providers to schedule maintenance, escalate complex issues, and track resolution progress.
· Inventory and Asset Management: Maintain records of IT equipment, including laptops, monitors, and accessories; assist with procuring and setting up new devices.
· Documentation and Reporting: Create and update internal documentation for IT procedures and assist in compiling reports on system performance or recurring issues.
· User Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate the setup and deactivation of user accounts, email addresses, and access permissions for new hires and departing employees.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
· 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Point Click Care).
· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Possession of basic technology troubleshooting skills is preferred
· Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
