Job Overview
We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
- Ensure that all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
- Nightly 4-5 hours shifts starting at 10pm -2am
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
