We are looking to fill the position of Night Security Officer at Lizard Creek Lodge Hotel. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, independent worker, physically capable of working outdoors in a mountain resort environment with a customer service orientation. You Will:
- Ensure public and personal safety at all times
- Ensure compliance of RCR safety protocols.
- Offer a high degree of guest service
- Assist with any security issues
- Conduct walk-through checks at the hotel as per shift schedule
- Conduct daily inspections of all hotel facilities
- Conduct risk assessments and safety checks
- Complete incident reports as required
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
- To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
You Have:
- Previous experience in a safety-related role (an asset)
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills and can work independently
- A valid driver’s license
- The ability to maintain confidentiality required
This role will be evening shifts, 6 pm to 2 am. The successful applicant must be available to work Saturdays and Thursdays.
