The Holiday Inn Vancouver Airport – Richmond is seeking a dedicated and dependable Night Manager to join our Front Office team. This leadership role is ideal for someone with strong guest service experience and the ability to work independently while overseeing the hotel’s nightly operations. The position primarily involves overnight shifts, with the possibility of expanding responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the hotel’s overnight operations and acting as the Manager on Duty (MOD)
- Overseeing the night audit process and end-of-day financial reconciliation
- Handling guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Responding promptly to guest concerns, emergencies, and complaints with sound judgment and professionalism
- Ensuring guest and property safety, including conducting property walks and monitoring overnight security
- Supporting other departments (housekeeping, maintenance) during off-hours to resolve operational issues
- Communicating key overnight issues to morning management teams
- Preparing reports for management, including shift activity logs and audit summaries
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and reservation inquiries
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of hotel front desk or night audit experience required; leadership experience is a strong asset
- Excellent spoken and written English; other languages are an asset
- Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
- Comfortable working independently with a high level of responsibility
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Opera PMS knowledge preferred
- A professional, calm, and confident demeanor under pressure
- Flexible to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: $21.00-$24.79 per hour
