Night Auditor - DoubleTree by Hilton Calgary North
Full Time Position
The Night Auditor provides guidance and ensures consistent quality of customer service is provided to all guests in accordance with Hilton Standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assimilate into The Hilton Family PRIDE/CARE culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of PRIDE/CARE. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must always be able to remain calm and provide exceptional service.
- Good working knowledge of Front Desk and Night Audit procedures.
- Ability to problem solve
- Versed in Health and Safety procedures including emergency procedures.
- Ability to adapt to change and initiative to enhance working environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language to communicate with guests, other employees and managers.
- Ability to access and accurately input information into a computer using Excel software and other various software programs.
- Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error. Must be able to operate a 10-key by touch, rapidly and accurately, using finger dexterity. Office machines: operate copier, fax, telephone.
- Must possess the ability to post and balance large amounts of charges efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within initial training period after employee begins work.
- Maintain an open line of communication between guests, team members and management.
- Ability to effectively deal with guest and team members concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.
- Other duties as assigned by the management.

Preferred Education & Qualifications:
- Current Class 4 license (or willingness to obtain) and assist with driving our hotel shuttle to and from the airport is a considerate asset.
- Hospitality and/or Tourism experience preferred.
- Minimum one year of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge on the PEP operating system will be an asset.
- Should be authorized to work in Canada.
