We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. This position is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in overnight roles and take pride in delivering excellence—even while most of the world sleeps.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Accurately reconcile and balance the day’s sales transactions, ensuring all payments and charges are properly processed and accounted for.
- Deliver professional, courteous, and high-quality service to all guests, maintaining the hotel’s commitment to excellence in guest satisfaction.
- Verify that all guest room, food and beverage, and ancillary charges have been correctly posted to the appropriate accounts.
- Reconcile daily food and beverage revenues, ensuring accuracy across outlets and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Post room charges, taxes, and any applicable fees in accordance with nightly audit procedures.
- Clear Micros (POS) systems and generate necessary financial and operational reports for the following day.
- Execute end-of-day close procedures, including system reconciliation and data rollovers, to ensure operational continuity.
- Conduct file maintenance and initiate audit cut-off processes in line with established accounting protocols.
- Perform guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in the Front Office/Front Desk
- Must possess outstanding guest service skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills.
- Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to quickly respond to changing work volume; high-energy level/speed.
- Computer Literacy – i.e. proficiency in MARSHA, word perfect and excel.
- Manage and resolve guest problems and communicating in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team setting.
- Must have a flexible schedule and available to work weekends and holidays. Working shifts as business levels dictate.
