We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nail care and aesthetics, providing exceptional services to our clients while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail treatments, maintaining sanitation standards, and fostering positive customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and techniques to provide clients with the best possible service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance to enhance their overall experience.
- Upsell additional services or products that complement the client’s chosen treatments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the salon.
Skills
- Proficient in color theory and its application in nail art.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Background in cosmetology with expertise in nail care techniques.
- Familiarity with hair extensions, body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, and hair threading is a plus.
- Basic understanding of retail sales principles and retail math for effective upselling strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
