Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Decorate cakes and other baked items to meet customer specifications.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed in the kitchen.
- Package baked goods for display and sale, maintaining freshness and presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area and equipment used in food preparation.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and placing orders as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Experience with cake decorating techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely production of baked goods.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends if necessary.
