Mind Body Soul Integrative Clinic, located in the heart of downtown Kelowna, is a dynamic team of naturopathic physicians, a clinical counsellor, registered massage therapists, and a hypnotherapist. We are currently seeking a full-time, adaptable receptionist with experience who can take over administrative duties including: providing excellent customer service, coordinating patient and physician schedules, chart management, end-of-day reconciliation, direct billing, pharmacy inventory management and office organization. This role is 4 days a week, with the flexibility to cover additional shifts or take days off as needed.

This position includes a significant amounts of multi-tasking. *You need to love multi-tasking* At the same time, we are in need of a person who can recognize when to slow down and provide personalized attention and care to our patients. If you have previously worked reception in a medical, dental, chiropractic, or veterinarian office, we welcome the opportunity to meet with you.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Patient management: answers telephone, screens patient inquiries, books appointments, call-backs, reminders and follow up; reschedules patients and processes payments, chart entries, and more.
- Provides clear descriptions of treatments, performs duties and tasks as per the doctors prescriptions
- Practitioner Management, staff communications, agenda and minutes, mail, concerns, etc.
- Dispensary Management: products & lab kits: organization, stocking, pricing, ordering - Detail-oriented and attention to detail is critical and necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum two years medical office experience
- Bachelors degree is desirable but not a requirement; High School diploma is necessary; Medical Office Assistant certificate is helpful in lieu of a degree
- Computer Proficiency including Apple, Excel Competence (A MUST) & Jane Clinical Software (helpful)
- Book keeping experience a great asset
- Social Media Savvy with Facebook, Instagram, Mailchimp monthly newsletters
- Resourcefulness, dependability, reliability and problem-solving skills
Salary : F/T MOA/Reception $22-$25, based on experience and availability.
