Shift: 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM - Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
The MHE Operator will pick orders via supplied pick lists making sure correct product and quantities are selected from the indicated locator.
The Operator will need to pack and process for shipment all orders, making sure that each product is packed to prevent damage via the delivery process.
Picking
- Utilizes material handling equipment to pick product.
- Selects stock to pick lists, picking labels, requisitions etc., and places completed orders in containers and/or pallets and/or technician delivery bags and delivers to designated areas and for shipment.
- Bulk Pick: Picks & prepares pallet shipments for our branches.
- Must measure shipments & mark items country of origin & attached export documentation.)
- Sorts Products (Scrap, return to stock, mandatory returns)
- Checks and identifies picks delivered to pack station by reviewing products numbers and quantity to system.
- Informs Team Leader / Supervisor of product discrepancies.
- Wraps, package, weighs, seals, and label customer orders
- Replenishes packing areas with cartons, fillers, etc. as specified and informs supervision of shortages in operating supplies, parts, packaging materials, etc.
- Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly and observes company safety rules.
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Secondary School Diploma
- Picking and Packing Experience (Minimum 1 year)
- Experience in a food warehouse environment is an asset
- Service oriented with strong customer interaction skills and commitment.
- Outstanding verbal and written skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills & proven leadership ability.
- Previous computer user skills in oracle.
- PC Applications: (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
