Are you passionate about pets and product presentation? Do you take pride in creating displays that not only look great but drive sales? Join us at Global Pet Foods as we launch our brand new store in midtown Toronto! We're looking for someone with a keen eye for merchandising and a love for pets to help shape our store from day one.
What You'll Do:
- Own the sales floor: Create eye-catching, organized displays that make shopping intuitive and fun for our customers.
- Merchandise with purpose: Restock and rotate products, set up promotional features, and ensure shelves are always clean, full, and visually appealing.
- Engage pet parents: Assist customers in choosing the best products for their pets and offer informed recommendations with confidence.
- Drive sales: Use your product knowledge and strong visual presentation skills to maximize sales and elevate the in-store experience.
- Work the register: Accurately handle transactions and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Be part of the pack: Collaborate with a supportive team and contribute to a fun, knowledgeable, pet-loving environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Retail merchandising experience – you know how a well-stocked, well-planned display sells itself.
- Passion for animals and pet care – you genuinely enjoy talking pets with our customers.
- Strong attention to detail – from facing products to signage, you spot what others miss.
- Solid communication skills in English (verbal & written).
- Ability to stay organized and motivated in a busy, ever-changing retail setting.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked in pet retail or specialty retail before!

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
