About The Position
This is a regular part-time (RPT) support staff Bargaining Unit position reporting to the Manager, Counselling & Wellness, working 8 hours per week at an hourly rate of $42.39
The Mental Health Audit - Project Lead will support the data collection process through the implementation of the Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey (CCWS), as mandated by the Strengthening Accountability and Student Supports Act, 2024, under the MTCU Act. This project aims to identify student mental health trends, address service gaps, and collect data in consultation with a Research Ethics Board (REB). The role will enhance the current student mental health policy and establish a centralized platform for easy access to the policy and reporting on data collected through the CCWS survey.

Specific Accountabilities
- Review the current student mental health policy, mental health strategy, initiatives and strategies/goals around mental health and well-being at Lambton College, as it relates to this project.
- Initiate the necessary steps to customize and implement the Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey, including the consultation with and approval through the Research Ethics Board at Lambton College.
- Ensure that additional steps and protocols are taken to ethically engage various students and potential students in the broader community when collecting data and feedback
- A clear appreciation of and compliance with all privacy requirements, legislation, institutional ethics approvals, collective agreements and policies (including record keeping and retention)
- Bring together the research and baseline data into a written report (and/or addendum, edits of updates to the Mental Health Strategy and Student Mental Health Policy) that is meaningful, knowledge-informed and identifies some key priorities, gaps and impressions
- Develop measurable objectives and targets related to the results and a process for future internal review and reporting that is sustainable and allows for continuous improvement. This must include an analysis of the student experience; mental health assets; mental health deficits; and health service utilization.

Initiate the development of a centralized platform where students can easily access all necessary information in alignment with the student mental health legislation, and directive requirements.
- Four (4) year undergraduate degree, or three (3) year undergraduate degree plus one full additional year of University in Health Promotion, Counselling, Public Health, Nursing, or other human/health services related field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience - specifically knowledge in student mental health, well-being, social justice issues, research and REB processes
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite-365)
- Project development, management and delivery
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people
