- Ensure that Members are aware of and in accordance with Club policies and house rules. It is the Associates’ responsibility to communicate and enforce these policies and house rules.
- Knowledge of switchboard operation. Receiving and forwarding phone calls, making long distance calls for Members, calling taxis, etc.
- Unlock and lock doors as per the Club’s timetable.
- Receive, log and deliver internal Club mail and packages.
- Assist Members with wheelchairs when necessary.
- Give out information on events, house rules, policies and directions.
- Act as security for the entire premises. Challenge unfamiliar persons entering the building.
- Ensure the safety of the children of the Club in situations when they are separated from their parents.
- Act as a first responder to medical and building security issues.
- Direct visitors or guests to the appropriate areas.
- Report any deficiencies to the Membership Services Operations Manager or the Member Services Duty Manager and completes work order in Angus reporting system for follow up.

- Coordinates after hour deliveries by calling appropriate department for early or late deliveries and opens and locks the receiving door.
- Know and follow Club’s emergency procedures.
- Completes nightly patrols and check the entire building – from the boiler room to 3B.
- Logs all Lost and Found and place it in the Lost and Found storage.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality or a related field if an asset
- Previous shift leadership experience in the hospitality sector is an asset
- Must be courteous and pleasant in attitude.
- First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator certifications are an asset.
- Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English fluently and legibly.
- Must possess technical abilities necessary to operate switchboard equipment, computers, security equipment etc.
- Must be capable of handling and balancing money.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be available to work weekends, weekdays and/or holidays, AM and PM
