About the role
As part of Member Experience & Pension Operations, this Co-op student position provides pension administration support services to the department, focusing on data management and reconciliation. There is also processing of case transactions and other administrative duties within established service standards. Training will be provided on OPTrust procedures, systems and work processes. Students will also participate in OPTrust’s orientation and campus program.
What you’ll do
- You will contribute by entering, managing, and reconciling members’ data.
- Acquire basic knowledge of the business processes and plan rules to process transactions and prepare member communication.
- Assist with processing pension transactions.
- Contact members directly to complete missing information.
- Other admin duties as assigned.
What you bring
- Enrolled in a registered university or college co-op program.
- Knowledge of general office administrative duties.
- Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Excel.
- Strong numeric ability to resolve data reconciliation issues.
- Organizational skills to manage priorities in a deadline driven environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills to provide information, discuss and help resolve problems as well as communicate effectively with team members and other OPTrust staff.
- Strong customer service attitude to deliver great service.
