We are a warm and welcoming midwifery clinic in Surrey, BC, dedicated to providing holistic, client-centered maternity care. We are currently seeking a part-time Office Manager with medical office experience to join our team. This role may evolve into a full-time position based on clinic needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the clinic
- Coordinate client appointments and schedules
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and client communications with professionalism and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate medical records (EMR experience an asset)
- Support midwives with administrative and logistical tasks
- Manage billing and invoicing (MOA or MSP experience preferred)
- Maintain supplies, ordering as needed
- Ensure the clinic environment is clean, calm, and welcoming
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or maternity care setting (midwifery experience an asset)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., OSCAR, JaneApp, or similar)
- Knowledge of BC’s healthcare system and MSP billing
- Comfort working in a big team
- Compassionate, professional, and culturally sensitive
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time, flexible schedule (approx. 15–25 hrs/week to start)
- Possibility of expanding to full-time
- Competitive hourly wage, based on experience
- Paid training and orientation
