We are looking for a reliable and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our supportive team and play a key role in the daily operation of our clinic.
Position Overview
As the first point of contact for patients, the Medical Office Assistant ensures a smooth and professional experience at every stage of care. This position requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with Accuro EMR. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing outstanding service to both patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients warmly and professionally
- Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out
- Maintain accurate patient records using Accuro EMR
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle patient inquiries with care and efficiency
- Coordinate patient flow and support healthcare providers during daily operations
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all administrative processes
- Help ensure the clinic is clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a clinic setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with Accuro EMR is required or strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
- Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and efficient in a busy environment
