Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and empathetic Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving our patient experience - our vision is for the person to support with front desk duties, patient intake, pre-testing, and, in general, ensuring our patients have a 5-star experience. Please note: this role is to provide coverage in our office for Saturdays (5-8 hours), Mondays (8 hours), and Tuesdays (8 hours).
Duties
- Receive and deliver phone calls to address patient needs - appointment scheduling, appointment changes, follow-up scheduling, referral scheduling, etc.
- Use our EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system to ensure patient file is updated
- Use our state-of-the art equipment to pre-test patients (training will be provided, support will be given)
- Address non-medical patient concerns as they arise during the appointment
- Invoice creation, insurance billing, and take payments from patient
- Support our Marketing Specialist as required
- Support business operations as required and requested
Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong customer service skills are necessary.
- Ability to multi-task when required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - good manners, pleasant personality are a must.
Preferences
- Candidate must reside near Innisfil (within 15-25km radius of Rizzardo Health & Wellness Center)
- Candidate must have ability to efficiently travel to and from our office.
- Candidate must have some previous experience in high-quality customer service.
- Candidate must be digitally literate and be proficient in using Office/Google suite.
- Candidate must practice good personal hygiene.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
