A busy family practice and walk in clinic in Guildford Surrey is looking for a part time Medical Office Assistant. MOA certification and experience in a medical office is required but not mandatory. Our office is digital, proficiency with computers, e-faxing and using OSACR EMR.
Candidate should be ambitious to learn, a great team player with an excellent communication skill.
EMR(OSCAR) Experience preferred. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and diagnostic services.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (e.g., OSCAR) preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
