Seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join a subspeciality medicine clinic in downtown Vancouver. The individual must be proficient in English, have strong computer skills and be experienced with the use of electronic medical records (Accuro is used in the clinic). Duties will include reception, booking appointments, answering phone lines, data entry, scanning and uploading files, maintaining office inventory, distribution of documents via fax, monitoring email and electronic messaging systems, and general office tidiness.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors at the front desk
- Answer phone lines and monitor voicemail
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain EMR records (Accuro)
- Maintain office inventory and ensure office organization and cleanliness
- Document Faxing
Experience
- MOA Certificate/diploma or equivalent training
- Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
Hours
- 8:30 AM to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday (32 hours per week)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$27.50 per hour
