Medical Clinic Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management and fiscal management, ensuring that the clinic runs efficiently while providing high-quality patient care. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage staff, resources, and patient interactions within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Supervise and manage clinic staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and JCAHO.
• Manage financial aspects of the clinic, including budgeting, financial reporting, and fiscal management.
• Ensure effective utilization of EMR and EHR systems for accurate medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care services and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement policies and procedures to optimize clinic workflow and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment; coordinate with vendors for procurement.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to foster a positive clinic environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare management.

Experience

• Proven experience in medical office management or clinic management is essential.
• Familiarity with dental office experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Supervising experience in a healthcare setting is required; nursing or acute care experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, financial management, budgeting, and managed care principles.
• Experience with human resources functions within a clinical setting is beneficial.
