Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Coordinator and Parts Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of materials and supplies necessary for our operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively with various departments, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials required for production.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
- Monitor material usage and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and assist in the preparation of reports on material usage.
- Work closely with production teams to understand material needs and address any shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in material coordination, inventory management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and suppliers.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to material handling is preferred.
