The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role within ECG, offering the chance to:
- Lead cultivation operations in a modern, high-standard facility.
- Manage and mentor cultivation staff to maintain consistency, quality, and compliance.
- Work directly with senior leadership, and Senior Master Grower, helping to shape production strategies and expansion planning, including hybrid greenhouse development.
- Be part of a growth trajectory that is scaling toward national retail listings and global exports.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all cultivation operations, from seedling to clone/mother and mother/clone management to flowering and harvest.
- Implement and optimize SOPs for planting, feeding, IPM, harvest, drying, and curing.
- Manage a cultivation team, providing training and ensuring adherence to compliance standards (Health Canada, PACS, GACP, and EU-GMP requirements).
- Maintain accurate cultivation records and production reports.
- Collaborate with leadership on yield optimization, strain development, and expansion projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on cannabis cultivation experience in a commercial facility (home grow experience does not qualify).
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering consistent yields.
- Strong knowledge of organic cultivation, IPM practices, and environmental controls.
- Must be detail-oriented, compliant-focused, and passionate about premium-quality cannabis.
- MUST NOT require LMIA or foreign worker sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: CAD $90,000 – $100,000+, commensurate with experience.
