We currently have an opportunity for a Marketing Administrative Assistant to join our Marketing team, working from our head office in Steinbach, MB. Within a team environment, reporting to the Marketing Manager, and will assist in all functions of the planning and execution of Barkman Concrete’s marketing strategies and initiatives across different channels.

As a Marketing Administrative Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and team objectives
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer and marketing information across various platforms
- Organize and manage digital and physical marketing assets, including files, shared drives, and collateral
- Monitor marketing inventory levels and coordinate ordering promotional merchandise, in-store display materials and supplies
- Assist with customer-facing requests, including providing product photos, customer information, promotional materials, and event-related support
- Assist and support customers in the implementation of advertising and promotional materials, in-store merchandising, and display installations, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
- Maintain communication between the Marketing team, Sales, Operations, and Customers
- Support ongoing Barkman brand development and ensure consistency with established branding
- Contribute to the creation and coordination of content, including imagery, design support, copywriting, video, blogs, social media, and email marketing
- Stay up to date on marketing trends and best practices to support continuous improvement
- Additional marketing-related tasks and projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- Highly organized handling multiple projects with strong time management skills
- Excellent written, verbal and comprehension skills
- Proven team player who is highly adaptable
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Working knowledge of marketing principles and brand awareness
- Highly creative and versatile
- Willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license
- University degree or college diploma in marketing, business administration or related field considered an asset
- Customer service experience considered an asset
