We're looking for a Market Insight Analyst to support our Data Analytics team! This role is remote first but occasional travel to regional offices (Calgary or Edmonton) may be necessary.
Reporting to the Leader of Market Insights, the Market Insights Analyst provides data analytics support of the credit union’s Agile Marketing Team's campaign activities, which support Servus' overall strategic plans and business objectives. This position is accountable for identifying targeted marketing and sales opportunities for the credit union through the completion of member, market and product analysis to identify and create targeted email and digital campaign lists to maximize ROI and growth through member segmented marketing campaigns and programs.
This position will support one of two Agile Marketing Squads, as well as supporting the Market Insights Team with all its stakeholder support activities, and chapter initiatives, projects and programs, as well as performing member, market and product analysis, campaign ROI & performance analysis and the evaluation of programs/projects across the organization.
The breadth and depth of the analysis this position provides includes, but not limited to, market intelligence, internal member insights, campaign tracking, market & opportunity sizing, and competitor information. This position will coordinate the tracking for campaign performance measurement and will also provide input into analyzing member behavior for use in selecting members for segmented communications. The Market Insights Analyst Contractor will also augment existing data sources with 3rd party data on demographic and psychographic/attitudinal attributes and incorporate them into any required analysis and must be able to use secondary research outcomes and analysis to develop meaningful recommendations on key deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Agile Marketing Squads, including planning, pre campaign analytics, data coordination, campaign QA and deployment support
- Conduct Pre campaign analysis to identify marketing / sales opportunities and to create targeted digital campaign lists, marketing programs and segmented communications.
- Provide mid campaign tracking to enable necessary changes and pivots and post campaign KPI performance tracking and measurement
- Assess past and ongoing marketing initiatives and provide recommendations to improve future performance
- Assist in Servus' programs to track, capture and analyze member experience and sentiment.
- Prepare custom analysis projects into member behaviors, market trends and opportunities to provide insights and direction for implementation of company strategies and initiatives
Requirements
Key Education & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, economics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience in marketing analytics and campaign/ROI performance assessment, preferably within the financial industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication and storytelling skills
- Highly organized, with strong time management skills
- Effective stakeholder management
- Highly proficient with Excel.
- Intermediate level SQL and Power BI experience required
- Familiarity with campaign management and deployment tools such as Marketo, Salesforce/Doxim MRM, and Pendo.io is an asset.
- Knowledge of digital media platforms (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit) and their data formats is a plus.
