Cement Manager of Technical Services:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Others may be assigned.
•Monitor monthly/daily production/quality report
.•Develop masonry mill test report using outside lab data.
•Approve and assist in disseminating Monthly Mill Test Reports.
•Interact with plant personnel on production needs and issues.
•Develop/maintain strong relationship with QC personnel at plant/lab.
•Travel with Region Managers when needed for technical support
.•Handle technical problems and issues with customers.•
Supply letters of certification, LEED, etc.
•Keep up with and disseminate to sales group relevant ASTM & CSA designations.
•Attend and be active with relevant associations including but not limited to PCA, NPC, PCI.
•Maintain SDS and technical data on web site.
•Arrange samples to be shipped per request.
•Work with web designer on technical changes needed
.•Submit monthly report recapping highlights of activities.
•Be liaison between sales team and production.
•Report to VP of Sales.
Qualifications and Skills: Should have an engineering or science degree or equivalent and/or experience in the cement or concrete industry. Should possess basic understanding of cement chemistry and its effect on performance. Should have a minimum of three years’ experience in related industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $98,145.00-$109,184.00 per year
