Are you an experienced leader with a passion for talent acquisition? Do you have a strong understanding of the Canadian oil and gas industry and a proven track record in high-volume recruitment? We are hiring a Manager – Recruitment & Campus to lead our dynamic talent acquisition teams!

In this role, you’ll excel in implementing creative sourcing strategies and building strong relationships within the team and throughout the business. Your expertise in human resources systems such as Taleo and Oracle HCM, along with your knowledge of HR practices, employment law, process efficiency and project management, will help shape the future of our business. Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and processes that align with organizational and business unit objectives
  • Collaborate and build positive working relationships with business unit leaders involved in hiring to understand business objectives and workforce needs
  • Engage, coach, mentor and guide a team of campus and recruitment professionals in effective and efficient practices that fosters a results-driven, high-performance culture
  • Provide constructive feedback, recognition, and individual development planning
  • Oversee team workload and activity, including assignment of business unit portfolios, review of term/position tracking, and establishing recommendations on how to fill roles in an effective and efficient manner
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience
  • Develop and maintain all recruitment practices and processes, ensuring alignment and compliance with internal policy and all legislative and legal requirements
  • Participate in the development and approval of all marketing strategies and internal and external postings/publications
  • Develop and foster positive relationships with relevant post-secondary education partners across Canada to achieve organizational needs for student work-term opportunities
  • Through continuous improvement, enhance recruitment process efficiency and ensure that data accuracy is maintained through the Candidate Management Tracking System
  • Oversee and manage the staffing forecast by providing updates on all anticipated talent growth
  • Lead weekly team meetings including agenda planning, action item review, and status updates

What you Bring to the Role:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience leading teams, with the ability to influence and motivate others to achieve team goals
  • A Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or related is required
  • Experience in leading full cycle, high volume talent acquisition
  • Knowledge and experience of the Canadian the oil and gas industry
  • Proven expertise in implementing creative and innovative proactive candidate sourcing strategies and techniques, with a successful history of identifying and engaging passive candidates
  • Proven ability to develop trusted working relationships, within the team and across the business
  • Strong working knowledge of Human Resource systems including but not limited to Taleo and Oracle Human Capital Management and Cloud Recruiting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and in desktop and mobile technology
  • Strong working knowledge of human resource practices, employment law and provincial legislation
  • Proven experience in project management
