The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for a regular full-time Manager, Corporate Administration Business Support to join our team of professionals in the Corporate Administration Division. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Administration, in this exempt position you will manage a wide range of corporate administrative services across the Division and other corporate Divisions. This position coordinates preparation of the divisional business plan and annual budget and business optimization projects in progress across the division related to both manual and technology-supported processes and procedures.
Responsibilities include
- Coordinate the Community Grants program and a 50/50 program for charitable gaming events
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of operating and capital budgets for the Corporate Administration Division
- Prepare of monthly budget reports for department managers and monitor expenditures for adherence
- Coordinate a corporate parking program
- Coordinate the Division’s Action Tracking, and readying Council Reports for submission
- Manage of the corporate copy centre and mail room with a staff of two RFT and one RPT
- Plan and manage business support activities including recruitment, training, performance assessment, discipline, grievances at Stage 1, and maintenance of safe work practices
- Coordinate business and administrative support services for the Division, as directed
- Perform related duties as required
Qualifications
Your education will include a post-secondary university degree in Arts, Commerce, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline, plus 5-7 years related experience in a supervisory/administrative role, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
Required Certifications/Licenses

- BC Class 5 (full privilege) Driver’s License.
