The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and assisting in all aspects of Maintenance and Production to ensure machines are in good, safe working order for continuous production.
- Post secondary education in a technical-related field is preferred or actively enrolled in apprenticeship program.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and skill at troubleshooting machinery an asset.
- Experience servicing and maintaining processing and packaging line equipment in a production environment.
- React promptly to problems with the machine and resolve breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to provide clear, concise general instructions for team effectiveness.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills and continuous learning mind set.
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Equipment Operator’s Certification to operate power equipment, or the ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to weld considered an asset.
