Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete maintenance service requests as assigned in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and support special projects as directed by the Community Manager and Maintenance Lead.
  • Assist Maintenance Lead in monitoring work performed by outside contractors and trades.
  • Participate in the 24-hour emergency maintenance service rotation.
  • Operate a truck with a dump trailer to transport materials as needed.
  • Carry a cell phone while on-call, as scheduled.
  • Perform minor building repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
  • Complete general grounds work, such as trash pickup, curb and dumpster area cleaning, and landscaping maintenance.
  • Promptly report any unusual occurrences, damage, or safety concerns to the Community Manager and Maintenance Lead.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety standards and applicable municipal and provincial regulations.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required.
  • Experience with modular/manufactured home maintenance is an asset.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces (e.g., under homes for plumbing/winterization tasks).
  • Proficient in the use of common maintenance equipment such as snow blowers, lawn mowers, and hand tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a self-starter mindset.
