Primary Duties:
Select the appropriate tools , machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.
Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders.
Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers and verniers and understand all shop tool equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
Reads, interprets, and follows drawings, BOM’s and other specifications to determine, m achining requirements.
Ensures that all products meet specified tolerances, while following and meeting all quality standards essential to Unifiller Systems standards.
Assists with training of new employees when requested.
Maintains safe work practices by using all required safety equipment and procedures.
Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner to facilitate efficient processes and good safety practice s.
Carries out other duties as assigned.
