Position Overview
Volunteering at Perth Community Care Centre is more than checking off hours—it’s about connection, community, and compassion. Roles and Responsibilities
Depending on your interests and availability, you may:
- Spend time with residents by chatting, reading, or playing games
- Assist with recreation programs like arts & crafts, music, or special events
- Helping during meal times
- Support environmental services through light cleaning, organizing, or gardening
- Use your tech skills to help residents explore the internet
- Be a friendly, familiar face that brightens someone’s day

Requirements
- Attend an interview to determine eligibility
- A 2-Step TB Test within the last 6 months
- Volunteers over age 18 will need a Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Volunteers under 18 years old will require an original letter from the Principle/Teacher/Guidance Counsellor
- Must submit at least two references
- Sign homes Code of Conduct
