Job Title: Long Term Care Aide (LTCA) Casual and PT available
Job Description: Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, LTCA assists all residents with various activities of daily living.
Education Requested:
- Grade XII or equivalent
- Standard First Aid and CPR Required
- Experience in long term care or a similar environment is considered an asset
Experience Considered an Asset:
- Reliable with good attendance and cheerful disposition
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Possess exemplary Customer Service skills
- Effective communication both written and verbal in English
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the organization
- Must take initiative and able to work with minimum supervision
- Respectful and hardworking team player
- Police check and Vulnerable Sector Screening Request in the last 3 months is required
