About the Role:
Are you a proactive individual with a knack for organization and a "get it done" attitude? Linus Media Group (LMG) is looking for a Logistics Coordinator, to become an integral force behind the scenes. You’ll help make the magic happen for over 16 million subscribers on our main YouTube channel, Linus Tech Tips, and millions across our other channels.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and office areas. Whether you’re helping bring ideas to life, supporting teams across the company, or lending a hand where it matters most, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
As a Logistics Coordinator, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including damaged goods, miscounts, and misplaced items.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with business and procurement teams to support efficient stock handling and minimize delays.
- Assist in the setup, organization, and smooth execution of daily production tasks, ensuring materials and tools are ready for use and production timelines are supported.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following operational protocols and reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Disassemble and organize both legacy and current computer hardware.
- Perform general maintenance tasks to keep our facilities safe and in top shape.
- Take the initiative to implement systems that enhance efficiency, productivity, and organization.
Job requirements:
- A strong "can-do" attitude with a positive approach to solving challenges.
- Strong familiarity with current and legacy computer hardware and software.
- Proficiency with inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in fast-paced operational environments.
- Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and warehousing procedures and documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and resolve issues independently.
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) and operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners), while following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Openness to constructive criticism and a willingness to improve.
- Any additional trade or technical skills are a plus.
Compensation:
For this position, the typical hiring salary base range falls between CAD $49,000 and $52,000 per year, based on market location and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills and experience. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and additional benefits, which together make up the total compensation package, in line with our company’s philosophy to recognize and reward employee contributions.
