Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Load Finder to help keep our trucks moving by sourcing freight from load boards, brokers, and direct shippers. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and understands the freight market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search and book loads using online load boards or broker contacts
- Match available loads with company trucks and routes
- Negotiate rates with brokers or shippers
- Build and maintain relationships with freight providers
- Communicate load details to dispatch or drivers
- Track and follow up on booked loads
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of freight and trucking industry
- Experience with load boards (e.g., Loadlink, DAT, Truckstop) is a plus
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Reliable and self-motivated
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
