We are currently looking for a Liner Services Representative to join our Canadian team at our St. John’s, NL headquarters.

Key Responsibilities
As a Liner Services Representative, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Customer Service & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing rates and updates on cargo shipments in a timely manner.
- Managing Shipping Schedules: Coordinate the scheduling of container shipments and ensure accurate documentation is in place.
- Documentation Handling: Process and review shipping documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and Eimskip's standards.
- Operational Support: Assist in resolving any operational issues related to liner services, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from port to destination.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain and update databases related to shipments, cargo status, and client information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues in the supply chain and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Customer Service Skills: Excellence in customer service skills are essential, with the ability to effectively communicate and address customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams, customers, and global partners.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Time Management: Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, handle multiple deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to resolving challenges and delivering results.
- Team Player: Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
- Adaptability: Open to learning new systems and processes in a growing organization.
Additional Experience (Preferred but not Required)
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation or equivalent customer service and administrative experience.
- Familiarity with SAP or other logistics management software.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office tools.
