Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's exceptional standards.

Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Assist in cooking menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, specials, and team performance.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Experience in meal preparation or cooking in a restaurant setting is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
