Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a love for cooking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to our recipes and standards, ensuring that every dish is of the highest quality. We also strongly encourage fun, friendly counter banter with guests to cultivate the true diner experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory and stock management
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Provide input on menu development and specials
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Food Handler Certification is a plus
