Our Locations

Come join our team and have the opportunity to work at Monarch Burger, Taco Kat, and Slim's BBQ! Keeping Mount Pleasant welcoming and a little weird, we're looking for an experienced full time Line Cook/Counter Server.

The Position

Looking for a part-time Line Cook to work mainly at Taco Kat & Slim's BBQ. (Our team members all have a 'home store' but they are trained to work everywhere so that everyone gets a chance to take time off when they need!)

You are someone who:

• Has the experience & confidence to handle working alone
• Has at least 1 year of cooking experience
• Understands hospitality
• Can handle interacting with guests & running food
• Has good communication skills
• Is proud to be a little different
• Is a problem solver

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepping and Preparing Food
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and counter area
• Receiving orders
• Interacting with guests in the open kitchen area
• Proving support to the Front of House in Narrow Lounge
• Closing

Requirements

• Must have FoodSafe Certification
• Must have Sun/Mon Available from 4:30pm to 1:30am
• Must be able to work until 2am on weekends
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
