Family Bar & Grill restaurant located around university on Keele St. We welcome inspirational and motivational positive candidates to join our team as a line cook. The benefit is to learn directly from a 30+ years experienced Red Seal chef who managed to train numbers of the kitchen staff and managers in this industrial. Walking in to meet with us is preferred.
Line cook tasks include:
- setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies.
- preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- responsible for inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
