We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
