Responsibilities:
- Preparing ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes.
- Responsible for perfect execution of menu items from your assigned station
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and marinating various foods.
- Assisting in storing and organizing ingredients.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Assisting in receiving and stocking deliveries.
- Adhering to kitchen policies and procedures.
- Contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Prep Cook/Line Cook in a high-volume kitchen
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, recipes, and ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Availability: Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
