Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the kitchen. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food handling and preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
- Adapt to changing menus or special requests from customers while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
- A passion for cooking and the ability to follow recipes accurately is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
