Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our team at Cora Breakfast & Lunch located in Preston Crossing, in preparing delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a dynamic breakfast setting, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks under the guidance of the kitchen supervisor.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food production.
- Help with inventory stocking and stock rotation (F.I.F.O).
Experience:
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a very fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar food service environment is beneficial.
