Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stocking supplies.
- Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
- Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully before serving.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Italian cuisine is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
Room rentals available for $750 a room (depending on the location)
