We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Line Cook, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dishes that delight our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow during service hours.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following sanitation guidelines.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in meal preparation or as a cook in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy restaurant setting.
- Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to providing high-quality food service.
