Responsibilities
PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Learning Module Specialist is responsible for maintaining and enhancing TransLink’s SuccessFactors Learning Management System- MyLearn as well as recommending and supporting improvement solutions to the Learning team. Works closely with the Learning team to ensure that Learning technology aligns with the TransLink enterprise's strategic objectives, acts as a liaison with IT and maintains relationships with SAP external vendors.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Acts as a technical specialist to provide technical expertise, advice, and guidance to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the SuccessFactors Learning Management System- MyLearn, to meet the TransLink enterprise business needs.
Supports the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices.
Provides technical and functional assistance to end users; provides support, sets up user roles and permissions, troubleshoots issues, and responds to requests.
Provides input and advises leadership in support of the development and implementation of the learning strategy and LMS technology roadmap.
Provides expertise to the administration of the MyLearn platform, including creating tickets and escalating technical issues that require SAP’s support, leading the SAP release planning and implementation and the SAP targeted success checks.
Acts as the liaison between SAP and TransLink Enterprise, ensures system configuration and smooth integration with HR systems, and liaises with TransLink Application Services.
Monitors vendor’s performance and provides recommendation to leadership regarding partnership continuance.
Supports the design and development of custom reports, conducts system analysis and adoption planning by generating and analyzing reports and providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Customizes and configures MyLearn to align with organizational needs and learning objectives, including maintaining the configuration of Learning Activities.
Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with internal clients and end users, members of the IT team and the learning team.
Develops and manages relationships with SAP external vendors, working directly with external vendors on systems administration and customizations.
Qualifications
The competencies for this job would be acquired through an undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems, education, or a related discipline, plus a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management module and SAP certification or experience working with SAP.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Sold knowledge of eLearning content development principles and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with BizX Integration is considered an added advantage.
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to generate and analyze reports to derive actionable insights.
Solid time management skills
Solid organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Other Information
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
Work Schedule
37.5 hours per week.
This is a full-time temporary position with the expected end date of February 28, 2026.
Work Designation
Hybrid
This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.
Rate of Pay
The salary for this position ranges from $75,600 - $113,400 per annum. Actual salary offered will be based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the role.
