Overview
The position of Lead Administrator and Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in the dental setting by ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their treatment journey. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a background in dental office operations. The Treatment Coordinator will work closely with dental providers, patients, and administrative staff to facilitate treatment plans and coordinate necessary services.
Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans, answering questions and providing guidance.
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups, ensuring timely access to care.
- Collaborate with dental providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to support daily operations.
- Assist in budgeting processes related to treatment services, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Ensure that all patient interactions are conducted professionally and empathetically, fostering a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 - 5 years experience in a dental administrative role.
- Familiarity with Dentrix dental software is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of dental pre-determinations and insurance co-ordination is an absolute must!
- Previous experience with Orthodontic billing is a definite asset, although not required.
- Background in dental assisting is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- A good sense of humour and a warm, out-going personality are key components we look for.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care and have the necessary skills to coordinate treatment effectively within a dynamic dental environment. This role is not suited for a new grad.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
