Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Cook to join our culinary team. The Lead Cook will play a vital role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This position requires a passion for cooking and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, along with excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety standards, and kitchen protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
- Address any issues that arise during service promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

- Proficient in food preparation techniques with extensive knowledge of various cooking methods.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations within the restaurant industry.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
