My Catering Group is a dynamic, fast-growing catering company with a range of exciting projects and events. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a talented Lead Catering Cook to join our passionate team of hospitality professionals.
About the Role:
As a Lead Catering Cook, you’ll play a key role in preparing and executing high-quality dishes for a variety of catered events. You'll collaborate with the culinary team, help oversee kitchen operations, and ensure every guest experience is delicious and memorable.
Key Responsibilities:

*Lead and support a team of cooks in preparing meals for events *Execute event menus with precision and consistency *Maintain cleanliness and organization in all food prep and storage areas *Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations *Coordinate with event managers and service staff to meet event timelines *Assist with kitchen inventory, ordering, and receiving *Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly *Provide mentorship and training to junior kitchen staff
Qualifications:

*3+ years of experience in a catering or high-volume kitchen environment *Proven leadership skills and ability to manage kitchen staff during service *Strong organizational and time management skills *Excellent communication and teamwork abilities *Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required *Culinary training or relevant certifications are a strong asset *Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing event needs *High attention to detail and commitment to quality
