Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong foundation in landscape maintenance and horticulture. This role involves various tasks related to landscaping, gardening, and maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and well-kept.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, and weeding.
- Operate excavators and other machinery as needed for site preparation and construction tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Provide support in gardening activities, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design plans.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to the operation of hand tools and power tools is beneficial.
- Experience in construction or excavation work is a plus.
